Meet Susan Schuster — Your Native American Style Flute Instructor
Composer and arranger Susan Schuster is an active member of the World Flute Society.
Her original compositions have been featured in multiple issues of the international journal Overtones, and her book “Music of the Shakers for Native American Style Flute” was recently selected for inclusion in the American Shaker Library and the United States Library of Congress.
Additionally, Susan has arranged various traditional and popular music pieces for chamber brass, including music that will be featured in an upcoming recording by Genghis Barbie.
Susan maintains an active teaching studio through Gray Parrot Music at Insights Studio.
She is currently engaged in projects that explore the connections between sound, art, and plants.
