This is a 2-part series held Wednesday, April 16, and Wednesday, April 23.

Breathing, sound production, and basic fingerings
How to hold the flute comfortably
Techniques to improvise your own songs and melodies
Basic rhythms and counting
Playing with others
How to have fun making music
What you will not learn:
How to read music - no need
That there is a right and wrong way in music
That music is hard
That you should have stayed home
Registration Includes: 4 hours of instruction (Wednesday, April 16, and Wednesday, April 23) and a printed student guide.
Requirement: Students need to bring a Native American flute in the key of A - minor to participate.
